much does a headstone
cost?
The cost of a headstone obviously can vary
depending on how complicated the design is. A plain headstone will
cost less that a headstone with an ornament (ie a picture of a
bird, or a flower). A headstone with an ornament will cost less
than a headstone with a carving on. The more you add the more the
cost.

Memorials the cost of the headstone includes ALL the lettering,
(most other companies charge extra). We also include the VAT,
Fixtures and Fittings, flower containers and placing in the
cemetery or churchyard, safely and securely to NAMM safety
standards.

Why do I see
companies offering a headstone anywhere in the country from £399
?
This is unsustanable. At least 2 of
these companies offering sub-standard Chinese granite material have gone BUST over the last
few years, taking the money with them.
Most memorial companies have a showroom, a
workshop, staff, vehicles, health and safety and equipment to
maintain.
What would happen if you have a problem with your
headstone? The company that sold it for £399 is probably not going to be interested in going back
and sorting it out.
You should buy from a company that has a long
history of supplying headstones, and gives a guarantee that you can trust. They will have a vested
interest in rectifying any problems, because of their reputation
locally.
Ask around for recommendations from people who have done business with their
local company, and do your research.
